In these times of avoiding non-essential and non-urgent outings, Yuya, who works at an event consulting company, finds it difficult to return home due to his job's nature of frequently meeting people, leaving his wife Jun half-neglected. One day, due to the decrease in domestic events, Yuya decides to leave home for an extended business trip to secure new clients in the countryside. This causes Jun to worry about her relationship with Masakazu, Yuya's stepson. Masakazu is of working age but does not work and leads a reclusive life. Since getting married, Jun has hardly ever spoken to him and has been unable to gauge their distance.
