Married to an indifferent husband for 12 years, Yuriko leads a mundane married life. Wanting to add some change to her routine, she enrolls in a photography culture school. There, she meets Tajima, who asks her to model for his photos, and she is delighted when he compliments her beauty. Later, Tajima invites her out to dinner, but she declines, restraining her wavering feelings, stating she is married. Despite regretting her decision, Yuriko has a chance reunion with Tajima when she calls a plumber to her home for a water issue, and it turns out to be him.
