Chihiro, a married woman living with her husband in a small apartment in Tokyo, buys the property on a loan. One day, a man named Kita, who claims to be the manager of a jewelry store, pays her a visit and recommends a custom-made ring. Chihiro, who couldn't even go on a honeymoon, is drawn to the ring. Kita leaves, saying, "Please consider it as a trial until the weekend." That night, coincidentally, her husband plans to surprise her with a delayed wedding ring bought with his saved allowance. Just as Chihiro decides to refuse Kita's offer, he reappears with an unexpected trap for her...
