Emi is a married woman who lives a lonely and agonizing life alone because her husband is posted to Tokyo alone. She receives a phone call from her daughter, who has moved to Tokyo, asking her to introduce her boyfriend. She was looking forward to seeing her daughter for the first time in a long time, but there was something she was looking forward to even more. She had heard a rumor that her daughter's boyfriend was an extraordinarily adulterous man. And then she entertains her daughter's boyfriend when he comes to stay the night.... She can't get the word "adulterous" out of her head, and she feels guilty about her daughter, but she presses on with her daughter's boyfriend...
