Nozomi, who works at the local-focused Nikoni Credit Union, meets her old classmate Manjirou, who has opened a massage parlor. Nozomi suggests renovating with a loan from the credit union. She entrusts the renovation to Yoshimura, a client's interior decorator, but the renovation costs are not paid by Manjirou, causing Yoshimura's business to struggle. Nozomi also faces bad debt from Manjirou and fails in the loan, leading her to be held responsible by her boss, who demands compensation from her physically.
