Amiri and Takuro, both university students, have been childhood friends since they were young and recently started dating. Takuro's father, Tooru, is a workaholic with a serious personality, but he was divorced from his wife. He finds his son's girlfriend charming but tries to restrain himself from approving too much. Amidst this, Tooru loses his job. Amiri, intending to encourage him, says something that deeply wounds Tooru, causing him to feel anger.
